MERCEDES BENZ GLE REVIEW

The German automobile giant Mercedes, which has already occupied a huge share in the luxurious SUV market, is ready to make a mark with its new GLE variant. Mercedes-Benz has thoroughly revised its best seller in this segment to represent a class of its own. The brand-typical look of GLE with a magnificent design, comfortable interiors, state-of-the-art assistance system and magnificent driving pleasure has modified the fixtures of an SUV. 

Specifications

On technical circumstances, The AIR BODY CONTROL which has multi-chamber air suspension, the DYNAMIC SELECT dynamic transmission system and currently introduced 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive says the story of not only its grip and safety but also the sporting agility, where it stands alone beating all competitors. It's environment-friendly model reduces CO2 emission by 17% creating an example for other developers.  

Mercedes-Benz has given extensive importance to increase the GLE’s energy efficiency and performance simultaneously. New drive features, extraordinary aerodynamics with a notably lightweight design are major factors behind its energy efficiency. It also ensures 19 percent less  fuel consumption and represents an ideal environment-friendly design keeping the same output energy.

Performance

For the first time in the Mercedes-Benz segment, the GLE 350 e4MATIC is offering a plug-in hybrid with the lowest fuel consuming engines. The mid-size SUV emits less than 60 grams of Carbon Dioxide per km and achieves a speed of 235 km/h with an amazing output of 116 to 211 horsepower. The vehicle has the capability to cover 34 kilometers in zero emission electric models; with its boost function it can accelerate 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds the best in its class. It has a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, which comes as a standard on GLC 250 4MATIC, which has certain modes for DYNAMIC SELECT dynamic handling function, boosts auto-transmission with torque and enhances responsiveness or poised composure. 

Overall Evaluation

In comparison to its predecessor, it has a vast amount of extra space with a high ended curvy design ideal for the off-road drive. Nearly all standards have been increased, above all the space on the rear bench, with intelligent use of space and effective packing the designers have also managed to increase the size of the luggage compartment. Fulfilling almost all requirement of an ideal SUV, it is a real value for money. Though the brand based price is a bit more in comparison to others as it has a reputation of an eye-catching lion on the road.
